Cabinet Post

This is roughly what our kitchen will look like. Again with the upgrades. They wanted to charge $1000 to stagger the upper cabinets. Can someone tell me why they think that this justifies $1000? It doesn't add any extra cost in material or labor when they build and install so, WTH? They didn't even tell us that it is extra when we ordered but because they made a mistake in the order they waived the charge. Geez, what a hassle. The upside is that the cabinets came out in an excellent color and we love them. Just need to get the island finished and then the granite guys can install the bar and we can set our appliances. We are getting pretty close; about 2 more weeks.
