Our very own piece of dirt....
So, things are finally moving along with the house. We signed the contract last week and the financial hemorrhage has begun (who knew impact fees could be so much?). We are going to pick out the stone and hardy board for the exterior in the next couple of weeks. We took a little trip over to the subdivision to get ideas for what we wanted and snapped a few pictures while we were out and about. So far we agree on what we like or don't like, but haven't made any specific choices yet.
We are hoping to keep a building "journal" as we go along, and posting photos of the progress.
Congratulations!! You own dirt!! That is great. You will have so much fun getting to pick your own stuff for your house. Please keep us updated!!
